S600 B - Underwater Light (Stainless Case, Blue LED)

The Abyss S600 is our entry level underwater LED that provides marine lighting for smaller vessels. This compact, flush-mounted, waterproof light creates a dynamic impression, powerfully and elegantly penetrating the water with its wide white beam. We also offer the S600 (Brilliant White) for enthusiasts looking for a different look.

State-of-the-Art LED Technology

All of the Abyss Technology lighting products feature state-of-the-art light emitting diode (LED) technology. LED technology ensures longevity (over 35,000 hours of operation), safety, and efficiency.

The exceptionally low electrical power requirement of our LED technology reduces battery drainage, allowing the light to remain on for a longer period of time, even with the boat’s engines off.

The S600 B produces a large light output despite its low profile, measuring only 9/16” thick (see Data Sheet tab for specs). To aid in its cooling while lit, we've designed it with a pass-through cooling system that allows water to surround it on 360 degrees, keeping the light cool and efficient.

Construction and Installation

The S600 B is constructed from marine grade 316 stainless steel with an impact resistant tempered glass lens. Carefully assembled and permanently sealed, our underwater lights are totally waterproof and fully submersible, suitable for both salt water and fresh water usage.

Because of its flush-mounted design, installation only requires a tiny 3/16" hole in your transom. Many competing lights require a large (several inch diameter) hole for mounting, creating potential structural strength, leakage, and other concerns.

Installation of the S600 B is easy; simply pass the supply wire through a tiny 3/16” hole in the transom and route it to a power source. Apply marine grade sealant to the hole (as well as the mounting holes) and fasten the light to your boat using the included stainless steel screws.

Our LED boat lights are equipped with five feet of electrical wire.

Non-Marine Applications

Fully submersible, underwater boat lights have been popular with boaters for many years as a way to illuminate the water around their watercraft. Our LED lights are also an excellent choice for docks, ponds, fountains, or any other underwater lighting application.

Switches

We sell marine light switches that are suitable for installation with the S600 B.  Light switches should be selected such that the maximum current rating of the switch exceeds the total current draw of the connected lights.  The S600 B draws approximately 0.7 amps, so we recommend selecting a marine light switch as follows:

1 - 8  S600 B lights: SW6 switch

9 -  14 S600 B lights: SW10 switch

15 - 21 S600 B lights: SW15 switch

22 or more lights: additional switches required or choose larger, more powerful lights
